PLAINSBORO LIBRARY DISCONTINUES HOOPLA
Hoopla's cost-per-circulation pricing model means that Plainsboro Library gets charged a fee for every item checked out. This pricing model, lack of popularity, and cost make Hoopla impractical, prompting us to focus on more popular digital content like Libby (eBooks, eAudio), PressReader (Newspapers & Magazines), and Kanopy (Movies & TV). These services allow us to control spending while still providing the digital materials our patrons want. By discontinuing Hoopla, we can allocate our budget to better serve our patrons. Serving YOU is still our top priority.
A NEW LIBRARY EXPERIENCE IS COMING!
Plainsboro Library is transitioning to a new system: Polaris. During this system migration, all items checked out starting May 14, 2024, with due dates between June 4 and June 19, 2024, will have their due dates automatically extended to June 20, 2024. Thank you for your understanding as we make this transition to better serve you.

The Library will be CLOSED all day on Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day.
