The Edison Public Library is pleased to host an artist reception featuring Kushi Hebbar, the talent behind the “Connected” Exhibit currently on display in the Main and North Edison Branches.
Kushi, a 15-year old sophomore at J.P. Stevens High School, draws inspiration from her mix of cultures. She lives by the motto, “Too American for some, too Indian for others. But that doesn’t matter to me, because I get the best of both worlds.” Her unique “mix of cultural spices” is what she relishes in life. Her paintings attempt to bring those two worlds together, and through her use of color and light, she blends the worlds she experiences so that everyone can enjoy them.
Come and meet Kushi on Wednesday, December 21 at 7:00 pm and learn how she works through her artistic process. Light refreshments will be served.
If you can’t make it to the reception but still want to see the exhibit, it will continue to be displayed in the Main Library and North Edison branch through the end of December.
