Throughout the month of January, the Edison Public Library’s Main and North Edison Branches will be hosting an art exhibit from local student Lauren Li.
Hailing from JP Stevens High School, Lauren uses seashells she finds on her excursions to the beach as the starting point for her sculptures. Finding the life within the shells, she then builds playful cats from Apoxie Sculpt and works them into the natural elements. With a finishing touch of acrylic paint, the end result is fun and whimsical, featuring cats in a variety of positions ranging from being covered with food to being surrounded by flowers.
