The Edison Public Library is excited to announce that Cynthia Yuan Cheng, the author and illustrator of the latest Baby-sitters Club graphic novel Mary Anne's Bad Luck Mystery, will be coming to the Main Library on Thursday, January 12.

Cynthia grew up in Edison and even attended Thomas Jefferson Middle School, located right next to the Main Library. Their work as a freelance illustrator and cartoonist has them working with many different companies including Cartoon Network, BOOM! Studios, Google, and the Washington Post. 

During this program, Cynthia will discuss this latest graphic novel and the road they took to becoming an illustrator and working artist. Cynthia will also lead attendees through a basic cartooning session.

This program begins at 6:00 pm on January 12 and is available to ages 8 to 12. Registration is required, so if you have a tween in your life that is interested in The Baby-sitters Club series or in cartooning in general, be sure to sign them up soon!
