Brush painting is thought to be one of the earliest known forms of artistic expression, dating as far back as the seventh century BC in the Eastern Zhou dynasty. Artists transformed simple, everyday objects into breathtaking works of art in a distinctive style. Now, you can learn how to create your own works of art through the Paint & Ink Cherry Blossom Trees for Teens program from the Edison Public Library.
During the program, you’ll learn how to create magnificent cherry blossom trees using watercolor and marker, weaving the different media together to create something beautiful and unique.
One session will be held at each of the three libraries—Main, North Edison, and Clara Barton, so come to the location that is most convenient for you. Registration is not required; just show up, and you can begin making beautiful art. (Just keep in mind that this is only for teens aged 12 to 18.)
We hope to see you there!
