Presidents' Day is a federal holiday that was created to honor the birthdays of two of America's most important presidents: George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
Over time, the holiday has come to honor all of the presidents of the United States, and many people use it as an opportunity to reflect on the importance of leadership and the role that presidents have played in shaping the country.
If you're interested in learning more about a few of our previous presidents, here is a collection of books available through the Edison Public Library. But don’t worry about our libraries being closed! All of these books are available digitally and able to be borrowed right away.
