Love writing? Want to discuss the craft of writing with a published author?

On Saturday, April 22, the Edison Public Library will be hosting a virtual appearance of freelance writer and creating writing instructor Deepti Paikray to discuss her writing career.

Deepti is the author of Stories At My Doorstep, a collection of 21 essays and short stories about essential moments in the lives of people. She teaches creative writing to both adults and children, and her work has appeared in periodicals like The Indian Express, Life Positive, and Hinduism Today.

The program begins at 1:30pm on Saturday, April 22. Registration is required, so sign up below to reserve your place.

You do not have to be an Edison resident to attend. All are welcome!
Library card and Pin are not required for adult programs.

The Clara Barton Branch is holding a mini-book sale on Saturday, April 22!

Want to lend your support? Book Donations can be dropped off at any Branch of the Edison Public Library through Wednesday, April 19th. Due to limited space, we can only accept two bags at a time.

Proceeds from this Book Sale support the ongoing fundraising efforts of the Edison Public Library Foundation and the newly formed Friends of the Edison Public Library. The Edison Public Library is a non-profit 501-C-3 organization.

Masks will continue to be a welcome option for anyone who wants
to wear them.
