On Saturday, March 25, Alisa Dupuy, owner of Ladies of History, will be at the North Edison Branch for a presentation of “Female Spies of WWII”. This program will feature Dupuy in full period costume explaining the lives of the women who helped the Allies win the war. Women like Vera Atkins, a Romanian Jewish woman who worked as a spy for British special operations, as well as American spies like Virginia Hall.
With Women’s History Month in full force, this program is a great way to learn more about the influential figures that have been left out of the history books and to show that women are just as capable—if not more so—as men in regards to bravery and military operations.
The program begins at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 25. Space is limited, so reserve your seat quickly.
