April is Autism Acceptance Month, an important time to recognize and celebrate the neurodiverse community. The month is dedicated to promoting acceptance and understanding of Autism, and to raising awareness about the challenges faced by Autistic individuals and their families.

By recognizing the unique strengths and abilities of Autistic individuals, we can work towards creating a more inclusive society that celebrates diversity. It is essential to listen to and learn from Autistic voices and experiences, and to support initiatives that promote the inclusion of all individuals, regardless of their neurological differences.

The Edison Public Library has curated a selection of books that emphasize this inclusivity to help our patrons understand the varying degrees of Autism and learn how they can be more accepting.
