The Edison Public Library system extends all across the township of Edison, with one of our branches being prominently located in the Clara Barton section of town. But how much do you know about Clara Barton and her life?

On Saturday, April 29 at 2:00pm, we’ll be hosting actor Pat Jordan as she brings Clara Barton back to life in a dramatic performance, highlighting Barton's accomplishments in her one-person show, Clara Barton: Angel of the Battlefield.

Ms. Jordan, a professional singer-actor, writer, and director, appears courtesy of the Heritage Theatre Guild’s Famous American Women Programs. She studied at H-B Studio in New York, Juilliard Opera Workshop, and holds a degree in Theatre and Communication Arts from Villanova University. Her programs have been presented at venues such as the Smithsonian Institution, National Archives, and NJ Council for the Humanities. 

Registration for this program is required, but fans of all ages are welcome to attend.
