June is Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month, a global initiative that aims to educate communities, support caregivers, and encourage research to combat this devastating neurodegenerative condition. Alzheimer's is the most common form of dementia and robs individuals of their memories, cognitive abilities, and independence. We take this time to highlight the impact of Alzheimer's on individuals and families and emphasize the significance of maintaining brain health through healthy lifestyle choices, stimulating mental activities, and fostering a supportive environment for affected individuals.

Of course, combating Alzheimer’s requires more than just brain puzzles and healthy eating. Though Alzheimer’s can be treated, there is currently no cure for the diesease. There are numerous studies and medical research working on finding that cure, but those studies are costly. By donating to one of the trustworthy foundations that support these causes, one day we will see that breakthrough that eliminates the disease altogether.

In addition to books that focus on Alzheimer’s and its affects, we’d like to highlight some of those charities that support Alzheimer’s research and patients.
