Rock and Roll music came into its own in the 1950s, with the genre being heavily defined during the ‘60s. Since then, thousands—if not millions—of musicians have drawn influence from rock and roll that can still be seen in much of modern music.

Join us on Tuesday, July 25, as Walter Choroszewski discusses the many branches of the tree of rock music. This program will examine the period of rock music’s domination, looking at everything from the British Invasion to American Pop, and how the genre evolved during that time.

The Friends of the Edison Public Library will be meeting at the Clara Barton Branch on Wednesday, August 9 at 7:00pm to discuss organizational topics and decide on committee chairs. All are welcomed and encouraged to join.
