Get to Know FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) students learn to think like engineers. Teams design, build, and code robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. Robots are built from a reusable platform and can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming. Meet the current team members, learn about FTC’s competitions, and participate in a hands-on activity that mimics elements of a competitive game, including a robot, a portion of the game field, and some game elements.

Grades 7-11.

WeMake 4H - Code Your 3D Design

This class will give you the skills you need to make or code your own 3D printed designs using Tinkercad- a fun, browser-based 3D modeling program that anyone can learn in no time.

For Grades 5 and Up.

The Friends of the Edison Public Library will be meeting at the Clara Barton Branch on Wednesday, August 9 at 7:00pm to discuss organizational topics and decide on committee chairs. All are welcomed and encouraged to join.
