On Tuesday, August 15, Jenkinson’s Aquarium will be visiting the branches of the Edison Public Library to talk about the importance of the New Jersey Pinelands—the first national reserve—and some of the threatened and endangered species that call this area home.

The New Jersey’s Precious Pinelands program will introduce teens aged 12-18 to the animals that make our very own Pinelands their home. They’ll learn how these animals have adapted to live in the area and how the Pinelands are one of the world’s major ecosystems.
