Last month, the experts from Hackensack Meridian Health were at our North Edison Branch for a program on the prevention and risk factors of chest pain and heart attack as part of their Heart Health Series. On Thursday, August 24, they will be back for the second part of that series with a program titled Managing Hypertension.
Hypertension is the medical term for high blood pressure, and it’s estimated that nearly 47% of Americans suffer from it. Just like any affliction, hypertension can be fatal if left untreated and can lead to other health problems like heart disease, kidney disease, and stroke. However, it can be effectively managed through healthier living.
If you or someone you care about lives with hypertension, we invite you to join us for this insightful and educational event.
