While there is debate on The Beatles being the most influential rock band of the 20th century, there is no denying the importance they play in the music industry. The band was only together for about eight years and managed to become one of the most popular musical acts in history.

On Wednesday, September 13, Beatles scholar and Sixties Rock Historian Vinnie Bruno will be at the North Edison Branch to discuss the legacy of the group in a program titled The Beatles: From Liverpool to Abbey Road.

This lecture will follow the Beatles from their early days as a cover band in Liverpool and Hamburg into the height of Beatlemania—including concert performances and films—through their creative groundbreaking studio albums (Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band) to the formation of Apple Corps before covering their remarkable final recordings at Abbey Road Studios.

This program is perfect for fans of The Beatles and classic rock in general. Space is limited, however, so be sure to reserve your seat.
