Hispanic Heritage Month honors the cultural achievements of Hispanic and Latino Americans nationwide. The time period it’s celebrated during—September 15th through October 15th—represents the time of the independence of several Latin American countries, including Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, and El Salvador, among others.
During Hispanic Heritage Month, people nationwide celebrate the diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of Hispanic and Latin communities.
