Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by learning how to move to the music!
Our Latin Dance Lesson program is a high energy dance class that will cover the basics of merengue, bachata, cha cha, and rumba. This dynamic class is a great starting point for dancers of all skill levels to expand their repertoire or start from the beginning.
This program is led by Amy Garcia Phillps of Contento Dance, an independent Latin and ballroom dance company based in Rahway, NJ. Amy teaches both group and private settings; she especially loves working with her novice dance company and preparing wedding couples for their big day. She is currently Arts and Community Development Program Manager for the Arts Institute of Middlesex County.
