It’s that time of year when the days grow shorter and the weather turns colder. But if the sun is still visible in the sky, why does this happen?

You’ll learn the answer to questions like this in our fascinating Star Talk program led by NASA Ambassador Frank O'Brien.

Mr. O'Brien will talk about the massive, hot ball of plasma at the center of our solar system as well as the different sorts of energy it emits.

Not only will you learn about the sun, but this program will discuss the other planets in our solar system.

Star Talk will be held at the North Edison Branch on Wednesday, October 25. There will be two sessions—one in the afternoon and one in the evening—so choose the one that works best for you.
