The Indian art form of Rangoli—colorful shapes arranged in geometric patterns—can be made using any medium. While Rangoli are often made with powders, sand, or even colored rocks, they can easily be painted on paper.
In observance of Diwali, the Edison Public Library will be holding a Rangoli workshop led by local artist Sujata Amritkar.
Sujata will teach attendees how to unleash their inner artist and draw everything from simple designs to complex geometric patterns on paper.
These programs are intended for adults, and all supplies will be provided. If you’ve wanted to branch out and learn new artistic skills, then register quickly to guarantee your spot.
