Children often show a sense of imagination and creativity in their early years, and fostering and nurturing this artistic side leads to children with advanced problem solving and enhanced cognitive abilities and emotional intelligence. But how to nurture these skills can be a bit daunting for parents.
That’s why the Edison Public Library is offering a new Artsy Toddler program. Each month, children will get guidance in a new creative skill and be taught to use a variety of tools like paint, glue, crayons, and stamps to create amazing works of art. This will help children fine-tune their motor skills and become accustomed to different types of media.
This program is being offered at each of the Library branches, but space is limited so sign up soon to ensure your young one has a spot.
