Life on Earth wouldn’t be possible without the sun, but providing us with the nutrients we need for survival is just one of its amazing qualities. You’ll be able to witness the sun’s power and learn more about it in our upcoming porgram Solar Viewing with Pearl Observatory.

Attendees will be able to see our sun through a safe solar telescope where they’ll be able to witness storms occuring on its surface. An educator from Pearl will also talk about the sun’s rotation and space weather as well as explaining what causes sunspots and solar flares.

This program will be happening at the Main Library and North Edison Branch, and the content will be aimed at all ages as young as 5. Register below to save your spot.
