What’s currently known as Edison Township may have only gotten its name in 1954, but the area has a long and storied history as the location of the laboratory of famous inventor Thomas A. Edison.
On Wednesday, December 20, author and Rutgers alum Paul Israel will appear at the Main Library to discuss the life of Thomas Edison and how he became known as The Wizard of Menlo Park.
The program will follow much of Edison’s life in the American Midwest through his time as a telegraph operator up to how he became one of America’s best known inventors.
This program will run from 7:00 to 8:00pm. Register at the link below to save your seat.
