Due to issues between two software vendors, our LMxPress Plus app is currently experiencing functionality limitations. The vendors are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

If your plans for winter include staying inside as much as possible to escape the cold, then join our Winter Reading Challenge!

Powered by Beanstack, the Winter Reading Challenge is your chance to participate in the hobby of reading while getting the chance to win great prizes.

The theme for the challenge this year is Where We Come From, inspired by the book of the same name by John Coy, Shannon Gibney, Sun Yung Shin, and Diane Wilson with illustrations by Dion MBD

Using this theme, we encourage participants to read books that encapsulate the stories of history, ancestry, the rise from poverty, or just wistfully looking back on someone's life.

As you read and participate in programs at the Library branches, you earn badges to fill in your bingo card. You can also earn badges by completing two other activities. The more badges you earn, the better your chances at winning a prize, so keep reading and signing up for those programs!

The Winter Reading Challenge begins on December 23 and runs through February 23, 2024, so you have two full months to complete your bingo card.

You can register for the challenge and track your progress on Beanstack by visiting this link. If you don’t have a Beanstack account, it’s completely free to join.

Best of luck to you all!
