Some people are satisfied with living their lives in just one area, sometimes venturing out on day trips with their friends and loved ones, while others crave to explore the world and see sights that they could only imagine if they stayed in their home town.
For those who are infected with that wanderlust but don’t have the time or means to explore this great, big world, the Edison Public Library is offering the chance to travel virtually and experience those things from the comfort of home.
On Wednesday, January 10, presenter Jean McMillan will be leading a virtual travel session for our patrons. Jean is an ambassador for Road Scholar, an American not-for-profit organization that provides educational travel programs primarily geared toward older adults.
This program is completely virtual so you can participate without even leaving your home. The “trip” begins at 7:00pm, so be sure to board the Zoom bus by then.
