We’re kicking off our Lunar New Year celebrations with a special musical performance at the Main Library featuring erhu and pipa music, two of China’s most iconic and virtuosic instruments.

On Saturday, February 3, Wang Huowei and Sun Li will entrance attendees with their stylings on the erhu and the pipa. The enduring sound and musical versatility of these bowed and plucked string instruments are reflected in a program of classical and regional folk music.
