Penguins are fascinating creatures that have managed to garner themselves a bit of a fanbase thanks to movies like March of the Penguins and Happy Feet. And though we all understand that penguins can't sing and dance, there are quite a few things people believe about these animals that just aren’t true.
That’s why our good friends from Jenkinson’s Aquarium will be teaching us true facts about penguins in their upcoming Penguin Pointers program! Educators from Jenkinson’s Aquarium will waddle into the world of penguin biology, geography, care, feeding, and conservation as we bring our Winter Reading Program to a close.
This program will be held at each of our three Library branches and is aimed for students in different age ranges. Please note the specified age for each program before registering. (Registration is encouraged but not mandatory.)
To ensure the health and safety of the penguins, sessions will begin at the posted time and those arriving late may not be admitted. |
