March is YOUTH ART MONTH! Submit your young artist's
(ages 0-12) work to the Edison Public Library to participate
in our exhibit. Click here for more info.
Our series of author talks continues as NPR prizewinning reporter Nina Totenberg discusses her book Dinners With Ruth: A Memoir on the Power of Friendships and her fifty-year friendship with former Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Wednesday, March 6.

Totenberg’s story begins before she became an award-winning reporter and more than two decades before Ginsburg sat on the Supreme Court. They bonded over their womanhood and the discrimination women faced at the time, and they became fast friends for nearly five decades.

Dinners with Ruth chronicles the relationship between Totenberg and Ginsburg and delves into the personal lives of both women. It touches on loss, shared passions, and the relationships Totenberg shared with other influential women and men such as NPR correspondent Cokie Roberts.

The Power of Friendships is sure to be an inspirational talk featuring a legend in journalism, and it’s the perfect addition to Women’s History Month. Participants can even submit questions for Totenberg on the registration page which, should time allow, Nina can address directly.
