Christopher Paolini made a name for himself when, at the age of 19, he became a New York Times-bestselling author after the publication of his first book, Eragon. Since that time, he’s written three more books in the The Inheritance Cycle series, and Eragon was made into a Hollywood film in 2006.
On Thursday, March 14, Paolini will be appearing via Zoom to discuss his latest novel, Murtagh, which marks his return to the world of Eragon.
After the defeat of an evil king, Dragon Rider, Murtagh, and his dragon, Thorn, are left to face the consequences of the role they played in the despot’s reign of terror. As they struggle in the loneliness of their exile, Murtagh and Thorn get word of a mysterious witch that lurks in the shadows of their land and must use every weapon in their arsenal to triumph over the evil.
Participants can submit questions about Murtagh, The Inheritance Cycle, or any of Paolini’s books in advance of the session which will be asked of Paolini should time allow.
