Meet New York Times bestselling author Sayantani DasGupta on Monday, April 8 at the North Edison Branch.
Sayantani, a pediatrician who now teaches at Columbia University, is the author of the critically acclaimed Bengali folktale and string theory-inspired Kiranmala and the Kingdom Beyond series as well as the YA Jane Austen-inspired novels Debating Darcy and Rosewood: A Midsummer Meet Cute.
During two separate sessions for the age ranges of 8 to 11 and 12 to 18, Sayantani will discuss her journey from doctor to author and her desire to see herself in books as well as how culture and traditions are woven through her work, and how students can find their inner voice in writing.
Space is limited and registration is encouraged.
