The Main Library will be closed on Thursday, May 9, and
Friday, May 10, in preparation of our upcoming remodel. Hours at the North Edison and Clara Barton Branches will NOT be affected.
Mother’s Day is the perfect time to celebrate the wonderful women who have given us life, raised us, and/or played a role in shaping us into the people we are today.

This Mother’s Day - Sunday, May 12 - why not delve into the joys, challenges, and nuances of being a mother with books that offer insight into the universal experiences - and the unique struggles - of motherhood available in the Edison Public Library’s collection?

Relax, focus on you, and crawl up with In the Unlikely Event by beloved local author Judy Blume, or sit back and relax with the classic Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. You may also want to snuggle up and reminisce with children young and old with the sentimental On the Night You Were Born by Nancy Tillman or the humorous Are You My Mother? by P.D. Eastman

In thanks and appreciation for the love, support, and sacrifices we have received from all the wonderful women in our lives, Happy Mother’s Day from the Edison Public Library. We hope your day is as special as you!
