Representatives from Hackensack Meridian Health will be on hand to answer questions and assist patrons with Fresh Match, a new nutritional incentive program designed to increase accessibility to fresh fruits and vegetables.
 
To be eligible for Fresh Match, you must be a New Jersey Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (NJ SNAP) recipient and a loyalty program member at one of the participating grocery stores. Through Fresh Match, one dollar for every dollar spent (up to $10 a week) on fresh fruits and vegetables is provided to customers using a store loyalty card, a store loyalty number, and SNAP benefits on a Families First card. 
 
To become a loyalty member, simply visit a participating store and receive a loyalty card or loyalty number upon sign-up. To learn more about NJ SNAP or apply for food assistance, visit www.NJSNAP.gov. 
 
Stop by the Main Library on Monday, May 20 from 9:45 to 11:30am or the Clara Barton Branch on Tuesday, May 21 from 10:30 to 11:30am to learn more.
