The Edison Public Library offers cardholders access to a wide variety of digital resources through which they can borrow eBooks and audiobooks, stream movies and music, and develop personal and professional skills.
One of our newest databases is ShemarooMe, a streaming service offering a variety of captivating South Asian content through which patrons are provided 14-day access to three different tiers of programs including acclaimed Gujarati movies, popular Punjabi content, and a large collection of new and classic Telugu movies. ShemarooMe also offers a Kids plan featuring animation series geared toward preschoolers, children, and families; kids rhymes in different languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada; and favorites such as Bal Ganesh, Ghatothkach, and Tales of Akbar.
ShemarooMe can be accessed through the Digital Library menu on our website and selecting ‘Databases’ from the drop-down menu. Please note, only Edison Public Library card holders can access these services, so if you don’t have a valid Library card, stop into your local branch to get one. |
