Representatives from the Alzheimer's Association Greater NJ Chapter will be on hand at the Clara Barton Branch on Monday, June 17 and at the North Edison Branch on Wednesday, June 19 to discuss available care and support tools, programs and services, and general community assistance.
During these programs, the differences between Alzheimer's and dementia will be discussed and the latest prevalence and incidence data will be provided. Attendees will also be able to take part in shared learning and focused conversations about the Alzheimer’s journey, the role of caregiving, and the development of effective communication skills. Additional topics, such as disease stages, risk factors, research highlights, and the importance of early detection, diagnosis, and early care management will also be discussed.
