Join Marcial Hernandez, Jr., a public affairs specialist with the Social Security Administration (SSA), at the North Edison Branch on Wednesday, July 10 to gain insight on accessing your benefits.

Hernandez, whose career with SSA spans 25-plus years, works with community-based organizations and advocacy groups as well as agencies and elected officials to increase public awareness about Social Security, Supplemental Security Income (a based-on-need program) and online services.

During the Overview of Benefits program, Hernandez will provide information on social security and supplemental security income as well as discuss when and how to enroll in traditional Medicare-Parts A (hospital) and B (medical) plans and provide details on how to register for and use the online mySocialSecurity portal.
