Would you survive a zombie apocalypse? Students in 3rd through 6th grade are invited to join us on Tuesday, July 16, and find out during a virtual chat with Max Brallier, New York Times bestselling author of the book and Netflix animated series The Last Kids on Earth

The Last Kids on Earth focuses around average 13-year-old Jack Sullivan who has resorted to living in his treehouse ever since the monster apocalypse hit town. When Jack realizes he alone is no match for the hordes of Zombies, Winged Wretches, Vine Thingies, and the eerily intelligent monster known only as Blarg he builds a team to slay Blarg, achieve the ultimate Feat of Apocalyptic Success, and be average no longer! Can he do it?

During this 2:00pm event, Brallier will discuss how he came up with the different monsters and villains as well as the unique ways that the main character Jack Sullivan and his friends work to defeat them.

Brallier is the New York Times bestselling author of more than 50 books, including the middle-grade The Last Kids on Earth series, and, under the pen name Jack Chabert, is the creator and author of the Eerie Elementary series and author of the New York Times bestselling graphic novel Poptropica: Mystery of the Map. He has also written books for properties, including LEGO, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe, and Uncle Grandpa as well as the adult pick-your-own-path series Can YOU Survive the Zombie Apocalypse? and an entry in the zombie anthology Nights of the Living Dead
