Children ages 6 and older are invited to explore the rainforest, layer by layer, with our friends from Jenkinson’s Aquarium.
During the Rainforest Revelations program, science educators with the Point Pleasant-based facility will discuss the importance of biodiversity in this amazing environment. Participants will also have the opportunity to investigate some everyday jungle products. Additionally, habitat threats and ways to conserve the rainforest for generations to come will be discussed.
Our friends from Jenkinson’s will be stopping by on Thursday, July 18; programs will take place at the Main Library at 10:30am and the North Edison Branch at 12:30pm. Registration is not required, however, space is limited to 50 individuals and is first come/first served.
