Head over to the Main Library on Sunday, September 15 for a musical journey of Latin and Hispanic cultures.
Dr. David Podles, an acclaimed international concert violinist, will take attendees on a trip through Mexico, Panama, Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and other countries during this performance of Mariachi, Salsa, Tango, Samba, Cumbia, Cha Cha, Paso Doble, Mambo, and more.
A laureate of three prestigious international competitions, Dr. Podles has performed solo and in symphony, chamber, orchestra, and ballet ensembles in Russia and the former Soviet Republics, as well as such New York venues as Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.
The 2:00pm performance is open to adults with seating limited to 40. Registration is suggested.
