It’s Hispanic Heritage Month and, to celebrate, Edison Public Library cardholders can join bestselling author Silvia Moreno-Garcia for ‘‘Liberating Latin American Genre Fiction,’ a virtual chat taking place on Wednesday, October 9 at 7:00pm.
Moreno-Garcia writes in a variety of genres including fantasy, horror, noir and historical. She is the author of a number of critically acclaimed novels, including Gods of Jade and Shadow, Mexican Gothic, Velvet Was the Night, The Daughter of Doctor Moreau, and her latest release, The Seventh Veil of Salome. Mexican by birth, Canadian by inclination, Moreno-Garcia’s upcoming virtual program will focus on Latin American Genre fiction, her writing process and journey, as well as her newest book.
