Residents seeking information about the various statewide assistance programs available to those who qualify are invited to attend this informative program taking place on Tuesday, October 29 at the Clara Barton Branch.
At 11:00 am, the Edison Public Library will welcome a representative from New Jersey SHARES, a nationally recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides statewide assistance and referrals for families who need help paying energy, water, and telephone bills.

Information on water grants, including NJ American Water H2O Help 2 Others/Low-Income Payment Program (LIPP), Aqua Aid NJ, and Veolia Cares, will also be provided. Additionally, the presenter will review the Lifeline Communications Program, which assists with the costs of basic landline and broadband internet service for residential customers; Get Covered NJ, the state healthcare marketplace; and the NJ SMART housing program for mortgage, rent, and property taxes.
