Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, begins on the 25th day of Kislev, the third month of the Hebrew calendar, and is usually celebrated in December. The holiday is observed for eight nights and days and this year’s celebration will begin at sundown on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 and end at sundown on January 2, 2025. 
 
As Hanukkah approaches, the Edison Public Library invites you to attend an afternoon of Holiday Sounds. On Sunday, December 22 at 2:00pm, join the Netanya Israeli Trio at the Main Library for a performance featuring Israeli, Jewish, Klezmer, Yiddish, Mizrahi, and American music designed to elevate your spirits and foster a sense of community.
 
This event is open to all ages and registration is not required but seating is limited. Please arrive on time as attendance will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
