The Main Library will be closed until February 9 as we move into Phase 2 of renovations. The North Edison Branch will be open on Sundays during this time from 12-5:00pm to accommodate our patrons.

In honor of February being American Heart Month, Library Chef, a free program that offers Edison Public Library patrons the chance to enhance kitchen skills through expert-led classes from the comfort of home, is hosting a virtual program centered around Heart-Healthy Cooking Techniques.

Scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 4 at 7:00pm, the program will provide attendees with information on how to make healthy substitutions to support healthy choices. Topics will include essential skills for grilling lean proteins, steaming veggies, and using herbs and spices for flavorful, nutritious meals.

A free Library Chef account is required to register for this program; visit https://app.librarychef.com/login, select ‘sign up,’ and follow the prompts to choose the ‘Edison Public Library’ to create an account with a valid email address and Edison Public Library card. You will receive a confirmation email with an activation code that, once entered on the Library Chef website, will enable you to secure a spot for the class.
