Presented in partnership with Assisting Hands of Central New Jersey, the Supporting Aging at Home: A Team Approach program for adults and caregivers will take place on Wednesday, March 5 at 1:00pm at the Clara Barton Branch.
We live in an ‘aging America’ and, as America’s population ages, the need for specialized care grows along with the challenges related to health care, such as frequent hospitalizations, emergency room visits, and falls.
This program will focus on strategies to reduce these issues by preventing hospital readmissions, providing alternatives to institutional care, and supporting aging at home. The discussion will also cover the various care options available, including payer sources, and highlight the importance of knowing when and where to seek help. |
