Author Liann Zhang will host a virtual chat centered around her debut thriller, Julie Chan is Dead, at 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 14.

Separated at a young age, identical twins Julie Chan, a supermarket cashier, and Chloe VanHuusen, a popular influencer, were polar opposites who rarely spoke, but when Julie discovers Chloe’s lifeless body under mysterious circumstances, she seizes the chance to live the life she’s always envied. Transforming into Chloe is easier than expected, however, Julie soon realizes that Chloe’s seemingly picture-perfect life was anything but perfect and that she may be the next target.
