Join Lisa Gutkin of the acclaimed Klezmatics for Tantsn un Shpringen: A Yiddish Music Celebration at 1:00pm Sunday, June 8, at the Main Library. 
 
Tantsn un Shpringen (dancing and jumping), named after the Saturday night dances of her childhood in her Yiddish-speaking summer community, is a show near to Gutkin’s heart. Dedicated to her grandmother and great aunt, the Grammy-winning violinist will sweep you away with freylekhs (dance tunes), doynas (mournful melodies), and songs, performed on the fiddle, about love and life sung in English and Yiddish.
 
All are welcome to attend this magical, musical journey around the world!
