The Edison Public Library is offering a program to help bridge the gap between the community and healthcare professionals.
Those seeking to build confidence in managing their own or a loved one’s healthcare are invited to attend the ‘Health-Bridge’ Workshop taking place at the Main Library at noon on Monday, June 30.
Join Sejal Chopra, a medical assistant with hands-on experience in patient care and health communication, for a workshop designed to empower you with the skills and confidence to schedule medical appointments, communicate effectively with healthcare providers, and understand what to expect during a visit. Learn how to make appointments, prepare for visits, ask the right questions, and manage follow-up care for better health outcomes.
Those attending in need of an interpreter can reach out to Dana Galassa at dgalassa@edisonpubliclibrary.org or call (732) 287-2298, ext. 5227 at least 72 hours in advance.
