Get ready for a truly unique and educational program when we welcome back some of our four-legged friends from Howling Woods Farm.
Patrons of all ages are invited to meet and learn about wolves and wolfdogs during programs taking place at the Clara Barton Branch and the Main Library on Thursday, July 17.
A wolfdog, also known as a ‘wolf hybrid,’ is a dog with wolf in its bloodline. While it is widely understood that all dog breeds have descended from the wolf, a wolfdog is a domestic dog with pure wolf in its recent genetic ancestry.
Stop by the Clara Barton Branch at 1:00pm or the Main Library at 4:00pm or 5:30pm to see these majestic animals up close and learn about wolf behavior, conservation, and the vital role of these animals in the ecosystem.
No registration is required, but seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
