September is Hispanic Heritage Month, and, to celebrate, patrons of all ages are invited to join us at the Clara Barton Branch on Saturday, September 27, for a special craft program.
Attendees at the 11:00am program will have the opportunity to learn about and create Hojalata Tin Art, a form of Mexican folk art that originated in the 1500s. Participants will be able to ‘engrave’ lines onto sheets of aluminum foil and color the Hojalata to create their own Mexican folk art masterpieces.
No registration necessary, but space is limited.
