One of the country’s premier cartoonists, Charles “Chas” Addams, is best known as the creator of The Addams Family. Inspired by his hometown surroundings in Westfield, NJ, Addams’ illustrations grew into a television series, a live-action movie franchise, a Broadway musical, and a 2019 animated film with a 2021 sequel. 

Edison Public Library patrons are invited to join Ron MacCloskey, a documentarian, producer, TV host, and co-founder of Addamsfest, at the Main Library on Monday, September 29, at 6:00pm for a program about Addams’ creepy and kooky, mysterious and spooky, and altogether ooky creations.

The Edison Public Library now offers museum passes to adult patrons with a valid library card and photo ID. These passes allow either a free admission or a special discount access to museums across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
 
Passes are available for pickup in-person only at the circulation desk at the specified Library branch.
