The Edison Public Library is celebrating Halloween with some safe and spooky activities for children.Â
Â
On Saturday, October 26, children ages 9 and older are invited to navigate a chilling graveyard, brave the tombstones, and unearth the secrets on how we became the Edison HAUNTED Library.
Â
This after-hours program will take place from 7:30 to 9:00p.m. at the Clara Barton Branch, and registration is not required. Groups of six to eight attendees will be taken into the haunted house every five minutes, at their own risk, of course.Â
Â
For those who'd rather have sweets instead of scares, Edison children up to age 11 are also invited to trick-or-treat at each of our locations on Friday, October 31.Â
Â
Staff at the Main Library, Clara Barton Branch, and the North Edison Temporary Location will be handing out treats throughout the day. Don’t forget to wear your costume and bring a bag to collect your goodies.Â
